CLOTHING

OBJECTIVES:Student will be expected to:
- Understand how appearance communicates a message to others.
- Identify the basic parts of a sewing machine.
- Practice basic hand and machine sewing techniques.
- Use the pattern information to help layout, cut and sew.
PROJECTS:Each student will be expected to:
- Complete at least 2 machine projects using a pattern.
- Repair at least one garment to teacher specifications.
- Have hand projects as needed. (Students are to always have a hand project
such as (Latch hook, embroidery, crochet, knitting, etc. to work on for those
times when the instructor is working with other students.)
- Students are expected to supply materials for their projects as needed.
