Syllabus

• Objectives: The student will demonstrate touch-typing proficiency and skill in generating hard-copy (printed), error-free documents which include letters, memos, reports and tables. Speed and accuracy are emphasized 2nd nine weeks. This is a half year (18 week) course study, using the following software:
  
  
• Software: WINDOW95, MICRO-ERROR CHECKER, MSWORD, EXCEL
  
  
• Textbook: CENTURY 21 KEYBOARDING AND INFORMATION PROCESSING, South-Western Pub. Co., 1997
  
  
• Course Mastery: For course mastery, the student should attain 70% or above.
  
  
• Student Required Materials: My supply list for beginning computer class is
  6x9 steno book and $5.00 supply cost for things we use during the year.
